I can undertake digital and analogue circuit design. As an embedded systems specialist, I do most of my work with microcontroller-based systems. These come in all shapes and sizes ranging from tiny 8-pin devices through to 32-bit systems with network and USB interface.
Peripheral circuits have included DC and stepper motor drives, thermal print head drivers, LCD interface, lithium-ion battery chargers and mains-powered lighting systems. I can also cater for low power designs where battery life is measured in years rather than weeks.
Surface mount prototyping and low volume production is often a problem for small businesses as many manufacturing companies are only interested in volume work. I can help you find suppliers who will source PCBs quickly, and assemble a small number of prototypes or pre-production units, and then ramp up to your intended production rate if required.
